Simply put, coaching is designed for functional people to get to an optimal state in any given area of life. If the coach identifies dysfunctions beyond what the coaching process can/should address, depth analysis or therapy are recommended. Effective coaching sessions would provide safe space for client to show up as authentically as possible and without trying to look good before the coach.
WHAT’S NOT COACHING?
Coaching is not therapy nor is it mentorship in any way. A coach is not necessarily the subject matter expert in the area you want to get coached at.
